Up and running
in minutes.

Everything you need to go from sign-up to a self-driving battery: what to have ready, the six setup steps, and what day-to-day life with SolanIQ looks like.

Setting up

Six steps.

  1. Create your account

    Go to app.solaniq.ai/register and set an email and password. Add the promo code FREETRIAL on this first step to get your first 30 days free.

  2. Set your location

    Search for your address (or use your location). SolanIQ works out your NEM region automatically — it needs your location for solar forecasts and the right market region.

  3. Connect your battery

    Choose ESY Sunhome and enter the same username and password you use in the ESY mobile app. SolanIQ discovers your device automatically. Then enter your battery capacity and solar system details.

  4. Choose your electricity plan

    Amber Electric: generate an API token at app.amber.com.au/developers (starts with psk_), paste it in, validate and pick your site. GloBird ZeroHero: pick your distributor tariff and the windows are applied automatically. No retailer account yet? You can start on plain AEMO wholesale prices for your region.

  5. Payment and review

    Confirm the summary and complete checkout — payments are handled securely by Stripe. With FREETRIAL applied you won’t be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.

  6. Let it run

    The optimiser takes over immediately, re-planning around the clock. There’s nothing to schedule and no buttons to press day-to-day. Got an EV? Add your charger from the dashboard — see EV charging for OCPP and manual setup.

The dashboard

app.solaniq.ai shows your live solar, battery and grid power flows, state of charge, current prices and the optimiser’s plan for the hours ahead.

The mobile app

The SolanIQ app for iOS and Android puts the same live view in your pocket and sends push notifications.

Changing settings

Battery details, retailer credentials and tariff selection can be updated later in site settings — no need to re-register.

Billing

Your subscription renews monthly and is managed from account settings, where you can update payment details or cancel anytime.
